The past week has been a doozy! To make a long story short, Aubrey's temperature got as high as 104.7. She has been in and out of the pediatrician's office, Children's ER as well as Children's outpatient. She had some blood drawn and was given two shots of antibiotic. Her white blood cell count was a little high but nothing too concerning thank God! She is better this week but has learned to cry until she gets picked up.
Randi ran in the Vulcan 10K this past weekend! I cannot tell you how proud of her I am. She has been running daily and really seems to enjoy it. It gives her a much needed break from being in the house and taking care of the girls. Her father was a big runner so in a way I think she does it for him too. The girls and I try to attend every race and it's a nice time for me to be alone with my girls.
The ladies have been experimenting with some new finger foods. In these pictures they have some kind of cracker? I cut up some fruit this weekend and let them go to town with that. Addy loves fruit but most of it ends up in the catchall part of her bib. Aubrey likes fruit but is very wary of what she eats. She takes her time and doesn't drop a lot. Boston seems to hang out near Addy more so than Aubrey and I can't say that I blame her. Having a dog is a blessing when it comes to spills in the kitchen. Boston knows the tone in our voice when something has hit the floor. She doesn't hesitate to high tail it across the house to find the results of one's misfortune and a dogs dream!
I just wanted to put something up since it's been about two weeks since we've added anything. We hope everyone is doing well.
Much love to all.
